Born in Barcelona in 1998, vocalist, pianist, and composer Mar Vilaseca is quickly making her mark on the jazz world. A Juilliard graduate, she has performed internationally and collaborated with renowned artists like Emmet Cohen and Jeremy Pelt. In this performance, Vilaseca presents a vibrant repertoire celebrating the golden era of Samba and Tropicália, featuring compositions by Gilberto Gil, Djavan, Ivan Lins, and Elis Regina. With her fresh voice and dynamic presence, Vilaseca brings the soul of Brazilian music to life at Dizzy’s Club.
