1h 8m
Trumpet player and composer Terell Stafford has been leading the jazz and instrumental studies programs at Temple University in addition to his own projects. His personal delivery of a virtuosic vocabulary draws in listeners at every turn. Bassist and composer Rodney Whitaker transmits an expression as nimble as it is foundational. Alongside their high-octane ensemble, the duo approaches original music and standard repertoire with harmonic curiosity, sensitivity, and a hard swinging aesthetic.
Originally performed on June 25th, 2023.
